What makes Vigma® balls different?

Accurate Weight

Vigma® billiard balls are made to conform to BCA standards for weight tolerances.   Unlike other manufacturers, each individual ball within the set is made within the same production run- this means that each ball within the set is made to the exact standards as compared to the other fifteen balls.   In addition, each ball set is given a batch number for quality assurance tracking and measurement.

Uniform Density & Balance

The engineered KOBO™ resin used in the production of Vigma® balls is designed to match its specific production process to maximize uniform density which allows perfect equilibrium for ball roll.   Speed, spin, impact and control are more consistent with each ball set produced.

Flawless Surface Polish

Our unique water polishing finishing process ensures a smooth, accurate and perfectly round ball set.   Additional coatings are not required to add a spectacular gloss finish and perfect roundess for each ball within the set.     

Extreme Hardness

Vigma® balls are manufactured to withstand up to 10,000lbs loads.   The extreme hardness of KOBO™ resin allows our balls to be highly scratch resistant as compared to other balls.   Vigma® balls are also guaranteed NOT to produce burn spots on cloth similar to polyester or other polymer ball sets.

Brilliant Colors

The color quality of Vigma® balls are controlled by a highly sophisticated spectrophotometer which measures a wide range of color variances.    With our manufacturing processes, we are able to match custom colors with a very high degree of compliance as required by the most demanding clients.

HTD Technology

Our patented HTD™ (Heat Transfer Dye) process is unique in billiard ball manufactured and is an original Vigma® innovation.  With this process, Vigma® can offer a lifetime guarantee that the image on the ball will be of very high resolution, digital image that will not crack, chip, split or peel even in high use applications.   The image is "embedded" permanently into the ball during the manufacturing process involving heat, pressure and time.  This technology alleviates the need to "coat" the ball as compared to other logo ball sets.   Avoiding additional coatings ensures consistent equilibrium and will not negatively affect performance.
